Christmas and all that stuff
So what’s the deal guys?
I mean who can escape the Christmas downward spiral? As I drove out to work this morning our mail box was already overflowing with junk mail. And yesterday they had to shove it into the fence as the box was so full! Talk about a bombardment to spend!
So what do we do to survive this time of year? What do we do to make it more of a sacred time rather than an economic explosion?
The other night I went to see the new move The Nativity Story. If I was to tell the truth I would have rather seen Borat or Casino Royal but I thought why not, so me and Mrs sat in this huge theatre with 5 other people. It wasn’t long though before I was lost in the movie – it was very captivating. No special effects, no wiz bang stuff, just a very down to earth depiction of those months leading up to Jesus’ birth. Actually I found it rather moving.
Has anybody else seen it? What did you think about it?
